Randy Frey Bio
Randy Frey, General Manager
Before founding Casework Solutions Randy Frey was the Director of Tenant Construction for RED Development who is a real-estate development firm. They focus primarily on retail and mixed use developments in the Midwest and Southwestern regions of the United Sates. Mr. Frey’s duties at RED included management of a team who oversaw more than three million square feet of new retail construction over a six years period, totaling more than three hundred million $300,000,000 in contract value. Randy played a key role at RED and its success since their early days of business by creating many of the systems and procedures that today make RED one of the nation’s leading retail developer.
Randy started his career with an education in drafting and design. After working for the City of Rolla, Missouri public works department and the University Missouri Rolla’s department of rock mechanics, Randy decided his true calling was construction engineering and management. After attending construction engineering and management courses at Missouri Western State University he joined a firm from Ames, IA, Story Construction Company as a Project Engineer. While at Story, Randy was part of a team responsible for the construction of the Missouri American Water Treatment Plant in St. Joseph, MO., American Water Treatment Plant in Warrensburg, MO., as well as the Iowa City Waste Water Treatment Facilities in Iowa City, IA., All of which were state of the art automated treatment facilities totaling more than eighty million $80,000,000 in contract value.
Professionally, Randy is respected by his peers as a driven, dedicated, focused, loyal & technically oriented individual. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). In 2007 Randy was recognized and made part of the inaugural class for the ICSC designation CDP, Certified Development, Design & Construction Professional.
Randy is also personally dedicated to his family, church & community, having contributed both monetarily and with his time to Children’s TLC & CAS projects, two nonprofit organizations that help those with disabilities and the less fortunate of the community. Randy is a Missouri native from a small town south of Jefferson City and now resides with his wife, Anita, two sons, and a daughter in Raymore, MO.
